Before becoming a psychologist, Riza lived all over the world, including Europe, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and the United States.
Her jobs included teaching kindergarten, primary school and high school, lecturing at National Taiwan University, writing curriculums for ages four to eleven, teaching yoga and writing children’s books (including a yoga book to help children with anxiety and several English reading books).
Riza has continuously been keeping up to date with new research to enrich her knowledge in this very broad field, including courses in neuroanatomy through the University of Michigan (USA) and a three-part Neuroscience Course through Harvard University (USA).
She also offers workshops on an ongoing basis on a variety of themes.
About Sunita Patel, Registered Educational Psychologist and Psychometrist (with a special interest in Neuropsychology)

Sunita Patel is an Educational Psychologist and Psychometrist with a special interest in neuropsychology. Her journey in the field of psychology began in 2002 at Rand Afrikaans University, and have been in private practice since 2010.
Sunita completed her thesis in 2008 on reading ability and how it is assessed. She has since developed a special interest in cognitive development (a field of neuropsychology). Her focus is firstly on assisting client’s in acquiring skills like reasoning, memory, intelligence and language, which are required to obtain knowledge effectively, and secondly, on analysing a client’s capacity when this doesn’t happen.
Sunita’s expertise in assessments is in the process of how the data is collected. Apart from assessing the client’s current capacity, their potential capacity is also tapped through a process called dynamic assessment. Sunita specialises in and applies all these skills for different kinds of assessments:
